香港專上學院及專業進修學院聯合畢業典禮於2008年10月17日頒授學銜給2,316名學生。SPEED院長羅文強博士於致詞時指出，SPEED的多元化課程為各行各業培訓專才，以配合現今不斷改變的人力資源市場所需。

此外，SPEED分別與英國Northumbria University 合辦，及與Heriot-Watt University合辦的學士學位銜接課程，亦分別於10月14日及11月30日舉行學銜頒授儀式，親友及師長跟畢業生一同分享他們人生中難忘一刻，為他們對學習所付出的努力作出肯定。

Unforgettable Moment for Graduates
The Joint Graduation Ceremony of Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and SPEED was held on 17 October, 2008, and it sent forth 2,316 graduates. Dr. Jack Lo, Director of SPEED, addressed in the Ceremony that SPEED’s diversified programmes are designed to develop a significant number of professional talents to meet the changing needs of the human resources market.

Moreover, the academic congregations of Northumbria University and Heriot-Watt University were also successfully held on 14 October, 2008 and 30 November, 2008 respectively.
