"Intergenerational Dialogue" @SPEED

SPEED invited Ms. Leonie Ki Man-fung, an award-winning advertising veteran and writer, to be a guest speaker in the "Intergenerational Dialogue" symposium held in April 2006. Ms. Ki, Managing Director of New World China Enterprises Projects Limited, shared with six students her experience in setting up an advertising agency in mainland China, from taking in charge of all investments to the operation and management of her company. At the seminar, she also talked about the changes on the mainland and in Hong Kong, and how she felt about the younger generation in both places.

Many audiences are fans of Ms. Ki and treasured the moment to take photos with their idol after the seminar.

" I got to know more about China and practise my etiquette through this activity. This is truly an invaluable experience."

"The event was great. It gave students an opportunity to talk to people from different sectors of the community and express their views. They could also learn from the guest speakers' experiences. It also allowed the guest speaker to understand more about the younger generation and their perspectives. I think the School should organize more similar functions in the future."
