Prior to joining academic field, Mr. Mike Kan had worked in the then Trade Industry & Customs Department of the Hong Kong Government and the private commercial sector, exposing to different trades and industries, working in financial analysis and accounting fields. He tailor-made and conducted the first series of personal financial planning programs for American International Assurance Co. (Bermuda) Ltd. in Hong Kong before the establishment of IFPHK.
He is a College Senior Lecturer and the Programme Director at SPEED. Since joining SPEED in year 2000, apart from internal academic administration and external programme development and articulation, he has taught accounting, management and strategic management at undergraduate and graduate levels, in Hong Kong and Mainland China. |
