Brief Biography:
Mr Lam is a digital media artist, member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, USA. Before joining the HK Polytechnic University in 2002, he was a guest lecturer at the City University of Hong Kong. In the professional sector, Jack has produced and directed numerous projects with clients such as the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Ricoh Hong Kong Ltd, Star TV Group, Kinox Enterprise Ltd, and E-Commerce & Trade Services Ltd. Prior to that, Jack had also participated in different commercial projects in the US. These projects include the independent film "Alien Technology" produced by Richard Allen (producer of feature film "The Last of the Mohicans") and video project "Envisioning the Future", directed by Alex Singer (director of "Star Trek" the TV series).
Jack obtained his MFA degree from the School of Cinema-Television, University of Southern California, and BS degree from the University of Oregon, in the area of visual design and computer graphics. His works have won numerous awards like the Grand Prize in the Adobe Dream Team Competition, USA, and the Prize in Dream Science Computer Graphics, the Grand Prix in STEC, Tokyo, Japan.
Currently, Mr. Lam is the Lecturer of SPEED and the Program Leader of the Bachelor of Arts programme in Applied and Media Arts. He is a member of the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA). Mr. Lam also serves as the Subject Specialists for the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation (HKCAA).

Visual effects design, design of location based entertainment, production on large screen format movies, animation techniques, and interactive cinema
