Dr. Simon S.M. Yuen obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) in Hong Kong Baptist University. Dr. Yuen also graduated in B.Sc. in the Department of Shipping and Transport Logistics (now LGT) in Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Dr. Yuen has worked with several MNCs such as container terminal and Logistics Company before taking Ph.D. Dr. Yuen has written several articles from professional journals & magazines and his research areas include Third Party Logistics (3PL), Supply Chain Performance, RFID & E-logistics, Air Transport Logistics and Transport Policy & Planning.
Dr. Yuen is an Advisor of Young Member Committee of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong. Moreover, Dr. Yuen participates and involves several activities of local and international professional bodies. |
