Dr. May Lau had worked in the private commercial sector and gained experience in international companies, related to the merchandising, marketing and sales field. After that, Dr. Lau obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research studies are directed towards practical and theoretical concepts operating in the retail and manufacturing settings specifically related to brand development, business development, relationship management, strategic networking, and supply chain management.
Her teaching interests directed towards the professional preparation of students pursuing careers in the different industries. Specific coursework includes: Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing Strategy and Application, Strategic Marketing and Management, and Research Methodology. Dr. Lau had also participated in graduate course instruction in areas such as Brand Loyalty, and Consumer Behavior. |
