Dr. Tavitiyaman is a Lecturer with SPEED and teaches a course in Legal Aspects in Travel and Tourism Industry (SPD4259).While she was a PhD student, she co-taught the undergraduate courses in the arena of hospitality management and organization and an introduction to hospitality.
For her hospitality experience, she was employed by a five-star hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. She started as a front-line employee and was promoted to be the supervisor of the front desk. Later, she became supervisor of the accounting department. She has also gained restaurant working experience during her study in the U.S.
Her research interests are strategic management in hotel operations and consumer behaviors in travel and tourism industry. Her researches have been published in international journals such as Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research, and Journal of Quality Assurance in Hospitality & Tourism. |
