由香港理工大學專業進修學院（SPEED）主辦，並榮獲香港中華煤氣有限公司（煤氣公司）冠名贊助的「商業創意大賽2009」，於2009年4月18日假香港理工大學蔣震劇院舉行，並順利誕生各獎項的得主。
比賽以「為著名企業撰寫策略報告書」為主題，對象是屹立本港百多年的香港中華煤氣有限公司。是次比賽的評判之一SPEED高級講師何巧清博士表示，本年參賽者反應踴躍，共有65隊來自12所不同院校的同學參賽。
Business Innovation Awards 2009 - Organised by SPEED, with The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) as the title sponsor, the Business Innovation Awards 2009 was successfully staged on 18 April 2009 at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre of the PolyU and the competition result was announced.
The competition was aptly named "To Prepare a Business Plan for a Well-known Enterprise". One of the judges of the Awards, Dr. Florence Ho, Senior Lecturer of SPEED, was impressed that 65 teams representing 12 different institutes had participated in the competition this year.
