SPEED除了提供優質課程及終身學習的機會予有志進修人士外，亦積極與不同組織及團體合作，推動本港的教育發展。去年，高級講師何巧清博士獲教育局委任為「語文教育及研究常務委員會」（語常會）委員，任期至2011年。
「語常會」主要就本港語文教育事宜向港府提出建議，並於語文教育及研究方面擔當統籌角色，「語常會」的工作對本港提升語文水平有著相當重要的意義。何博士熱心教育工作，現任多個專業組織的成員，包括香港人力資源管理學會及英國特許人事和發展學會等。
Elevating Language Standard in Hong Kong
SPEED is actively collaborating with various institutions and organisations to promote education development in Hong Kong. Dr. Florence Ho, Senior Lecturer, has been appointed as Member of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) by the Education Bureau for two years until 2011.
SCOLAR was established to provide advice to the Government about language education and will play a key role in the overall planning of language education and research, which will be crucial in elevating language standard in Hong Kong. Dr. Ho offers advices about educational development in Hong Kong under various capacities including as a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. |
