SPEED的校友會與學生事務委員會合辦「海嘯求職秘笈」講座，希望幫助應屆畢業生於事業發展上成功起步。捷思集團（香港）有限公司創辦人周啟明博士擔任是次講座嘉賓，與在座同學分享在金融海嘯下求職的策略，同時剖析就業市場的最新動向，並指導同學如何尋找適合自己的工作及規劃事業方向。
剛修畢SPEED商業文學士（國際商業）課程的Terry Leung，於講座中分享道︰「我很珍惜在SPEED讀書期間有機會到捷思集團實習，而我亦十分感謝周博士對我的教導。透過這次實習，使我能夠將課堂知識與工作經驗結合，將來更能掌握實際市場的需求。」
Seminar on Career Planning for Graduates
SPEED Alumni Association (SAA) and the SPEED Student Affairs Sub-committee co-organised a career talk with an aim to help fresh graduates in setting development goals for their career. Founder of the Cougars Group (HK) Limited, Dr. Michael Chow, was invited as the guest speaker to give advice on the latest job-seeking tactics under the financial tsunami. Dr. Chow also shared with students the latest trend in the job market, techniques to find the right job and how to plan a career ahead during job search.
Graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Business (International Business) programme, Terry Leung, shared his thoughts during the seminar with his fellow students, "I am glad to have the opportunity to work at Cougars Group (HK) Limited when I studied at SPEED. I also treasure Dr. Chow's guidance given to me during the internship. The work-based learning experience has given me the opportunity to integrate classroom knowledge with real world demands." |
